DEI Journey
In early 2022, the DEI Committee conducted Focus Groups across the organization to identify the key priorities as it relates to fostering a culture of inclusion. Based on the feedback received, as well as our understanding of our current internal and external environment, we have designed a DEI initiative to embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into our core values.
The first steps to this initiative will focus on the following key areas:
Align executive team to build DEI goals into our strategic priorities
Assess and update recruitment, retention, and hiring strategies
Review current vendor and contractor resources for incorporation of inclusive language

Every company has a culture it wants to promote. To begin understanding how Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion can be embedded into our culture, we need to understand what each means to Catalyst.

Everyone is offered the same opportunities, but also provided the tools and pathway to be successful with those opportunities.
Everyone feels like their voice is valued and empowered within Catalyst.
Everyone continues to look for ways to promote more culturally inclusive opportunities to authentically show up at work such as Catalyst – Dress for your Day.
Everyone is open to changing our perception to ensure we are embracing each other as who we are, and we are comfortable with each other.
Everyone is providing a safe space for dialogue and communication to build relationships and a better team that moves forward together.
